Partners in Hand is a Co-operative investment group, a subdivision of ECO SXM.
Our vision/goal is to create a society of Financial Independence, Stability and Security for our membership, in the widest sense of the word …. through …. adopting a SELFLESS Investment Mindset, while creating a CIRCULAR Economy.

MOTIVATION:
Our motivation is simple and straight forward.
Today we live in a hard and, I dare say, rather cruel world of being …… all about self and Selfishness.
Having experienced and never forgetting the devastating impact of Hurricane Luis (1995), ….. for years, …. we have been trying to bring awareness of the fact that ….. by Financially investing together/in each other, creating self sustainable Food security by investing in and reviving our Agricultural sector AND creating a Circular Economy, ….. we could reduce the impacts of hardships, faced by many in our Society, during and after a major crisis.
This is most definitely not a new concept or Rocket Science and has been established, for decades, in all developed/progressive Countries Globally.
Receiving handouts, from Charity Orgs., is essential in times of need but then what ? How long could such charities continue to provide for the masses ?
Being solely dependent on Tourism …. What happens when the Tourists don’t return ?
Trying to put aside something for a rainy day is not always possible and often times there is no one to turn to for assistance.
In times of crisis, many are left up to their own faith and often suffer for months/years on end, trying to make ends meet or even worse, do not have 1 decent meal for days.
All our pleas and warnings fell on deaf ears.
Fast forward to 2017, some 22 years later (after Luis), there came Hurricane Irma, delivering yet another major blow to our Economy and severe hardship for many in our Society.
Realizing, once again, the inability of our Govt., to survive that latest crisis without aid from external sources, it became crystal clear that drastic measures must be taken to prevent re-occurrence of such in the future, due to unforeseen but more than certain disasters, from negatively impacting the multitude and our Economy in general.
Thus began in dep research, studies and analysis into the Co-Operative concept.
Then, in 2020, came yet another devastating blow, in the form of the Global Economy crippling CV 19 Pandemic.
Facing a full lockdown and no relief packages yet being received from Govt. or other Institutions, we, a group of concerned citizens (SPEOG), were able to provide 60 food and essential needs packages and bottled water to households (Seniors and unemployed), through the selfless donations of a few 1 time donors, within (some outside of) the Community of St. Peters until such time that Govt. could mobilize and provide further assistance to those in need.
And thus came the time, without any hesitation and further having proven the Nay-sayers wrong, as per November of 2020, having 6 founding members, the Co-Operative concept of PIH was birthed, put to the test and tweaked to become ….. all inclusive.
CONCEPT:
01. The Universe (Global business world) consist of many Galaxies (business structures);
02. Our Galaxy (ECO SXM), consists of, our:
– Sun (PIH-IG)
– Moon (WATTZZ Publishing-Engine);
– Stars (None Profit memberships); and
– Planets (For Profit memberships)
The Universe is limitless. What you Sow, you shall Reap.
VISION:
To build strong CO-OPERATIVES by creating a mindset of: ….. Helping each other to help themselves;
Key Factors: Honesty, Transparency, Social Responsibility and Caring for others.

03. To Promote, encourage and establish a portal to assist our membership in their quest towards Financial Independence through Business Ownership, Self Employment & Entrepreneurship;
04. To uplift our membership by promoting and supporting their businesses/services;
05. To build an Investment Capital, as a group, empowering us, to participate in the many opportunities, Nationally and Internationally;
06. To participate in the enhancement/uplifting of our Senior Citizens;
07. To establish long term planning and strategies for Security, Stability and Financial Independence for/of our members.
